Overview

The University of London is made up of 17 self-governing Colleges and 10 specialist research institutes. The University has a community of over 120,000 students enrolled on campus, including 55,000 students in 180 different countries studying international programmes.

The University was first established by a Royal Charter in 1836, which brought together in federation London University (now University College London) and King's College (now King's College London), to establish today's federally-structured University of London. The nine largest institutions of the University of London are:

Services for International Students

As well as offering a world-class education the University has a range of other services on offer including a careers service, data archiving and networking, library services, conference facilities and you can even use University buildings for location filming. Though most sports teams are organised at the college level, ULU does run a number of sports clubs of its own, some of which compete in national leagues.

Accommodation

Most University of London Colleges have their own Halls, but others do not, so the University also has Intercollegiate Halls and students from any College can apply if they wish. The University of London housing service can assist students with University accommodation, as well the private sector.

SI-UK's service is fast, reliable and efficient. Their consultants are specialists, working closely with all UK universities and, through my personal advice and application assistance, I was able to receive offers from my favorite universities.
