Funding for prospective students

Our Department of Social & Policy Sciences has funding to support new applicants on this part-time, distance-learning master’s course.

Scholarship availability

You can apply for this funding if you have received an offer to study MSc Public Policy for 2020/21.

To apply for this scholarship, you must have a high academic achievement; the equivalent of a 1st Honours degree or, exceptionally, a high 2:1 degree.

Among qualified candidates, preference will be given to applicants who:

  • are currently resident in and national of a low-income country as defined by the Department for International Development (DFID)
  • hold one of the eligible immigration statuses as set out on the Sanctuary Scholarship scheme

Funding

The value of the scholarship is £4,000. This will be applied as a discount on your tuition fees (for 2020/21 this is £5,300 per year).

We will ask you to complete 3 questions as part of the scholarship application process. You can apply for this scholarship once you have an offer to study with us.
